Old objects, found with care
Insitu is an Antwerp collection of vintage and brocante objects for inside and outside. We visit markets, house clearances and dealers to find pieces with useful forms, honest materials and a life already visible in them.
Found one by one
We buy slowly and individually. Stoneware, garden pieces, simple furniture and useful table objects are selected for proportion, surface and integrity.
Age is part of the object. We describe chips, repairs, worn paint and patina plainly, so nothing in the photographs needs to be hidden.

Patina as provenance
Every object is checked by hand, cleaned carefully and photographed as found. We keep restoration light. The marks of ownership are often what make the piece worth keeping.
